Sunjay Kapur
Mr. Sunjay Kapur is the Chairman and Non-Executive Director of Sona BLW Precision Forgings Limited (Sona Comstar). With over two decades of experience and expertise in the automotive industry, Mr. Kapur hold eminent positions in several autonomous industry associations and fora. He is a member of the National Council of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII). He is the Deputy Chair of CII Northern Region (2024-25) and Chair to the CII Europe Committee (2023-24). He is on the Governing Board & Council of CII-VLFM (Visionary Leadership for Manufacturing) Programme, on the Advisory Board of CII-Triveni Water Institute, and a Member of CII Task Force on Global Value Chains (GVCs). He has notably served as the Co-Chair of the CII National Manufacturing Council (2020–23) and elected Chairman of CII Haryana State Council (2020–21).
Mr. Kapur recently concluded his two-year term as President of the Automotive Component Manufacturers Association of India (2021-23). He is presently Mentor to the Young Business Leaders’ Forum (YBLF) at ACMA. Mr. Kapur is a member of the All-India Management Association (AIMA) Council. He is also a member of Entrepreneurs’ Organization, Delhi Chapter, and Young Presidents’ Organisation (YPO Gold), New Delhi.
Mr. Kapur is on the Board of Governors of his alma mater, The Doon School, India since 2020. He also serves as Chairman of the school’s Sports Committee, promoting sports and overall development amongst students. Mr. Kapur is also on the Advisory Council of Munjal Institute for Global Manufacturing (MIGM), India. Recognized globally for his entrepreneurial spirit, Mr. Kapur was notably elected as the Global Chairman of Entrepreneurs' Organization (2007-08), becoming the first and only person from India to hold this prestigious position.
He holds a bachelor's degree in business administration from the University of Buckingham, U.K. Additionally, he was in the class of ‘The Birthing of Giants’ program at MIT, USA, a three-year program by EO, MIT, and Inc. Magazine. In 2013, he completed the Owner President Management (OPM) program at Harvard Business School. He has also completed a program on 'Growth in the Family Enterprise' at the Indian School of Business and the University of Pennsylvania (Wharton).
Mr. Sunjay Kapur is a doyen of the Indian Auto Industry. He serves as an Independent Director on the board of several listed and other companies. Prior to his appointment as Non-Executive Director, Mr. Kapur was the Managing Director of the Company and has been continuously associated with the company since August 2006. In his previous role as Managing Director, Mr. Kapur was responsible for management of the whole of affairs of the Company.
Vivek Vikram Singh
Mr. Vivek Vikram Singh is the Managing Director and Group Chief Executive Officer of our Company. He holds a bachelor’s degree in technology (computer science and engineering) from HBTI, Kanpur and a post graduate diploma in management from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad. He has over 18 years of experience, including eight years of experience in the automotive industry. He is inter alia responsible for overseeing the production of auto components and systems platform in electric vehicles and hybrids, capital allocation decisions, external shareholder management at our Company. He was awarded ‘Entrepreneurial CEO of the Year 2021’ by EY India in April, 2022. He was also recognised as one of the India’s 40 under forty hottest business leaders by the Economic Times in 2018. He joined our Company on July 1, 2016. He was appointed as the Managing Director and Group Chief Executive Officer on our Board with effect from July 5, 2019.
Jeff M. Overly
Mr. Jeffrey M. Overly is an Independent Director of our Company. He holds a bachelor’s degree of science in industrial management from the University of Cincinnati and a master’s degree of science in admin from Central Michigan University. He has over 43 years of operating experience. He is on the board of directors of, among others, Performance Food Group, Sabre Industries, a BX portfolio company, Schenck Process Holding GmbH and Packer Sanitation Services Incorporated. Prior to joining our Company, he worked with The Blackstone Group for 10 years where he was an Operating Partner in their Private Equity group. He was appointed as an Independent Director on our Board with effect from February 12, 2021.
Shradha Suri
Shradha Suri Marwah is the Chairperson & Managing Director of Subros Ltd. Established in 1985, Subros Ltd is a joint venture between the Indian Promoters, Suzuki Motor Corporation, Japan and DENSO Corporation, Japan. The Company is recognized as a market leader in Thermal products and technologies and is in technical collaboration with DENSO Corporation Japan.
Shradha is also the elected President (2023-25) of Automotive Components Manufacturers Association (ACMA). She is also the Chairperson of Pillar 2 (Government Affairs & Strategic Affairs) and Pillar 5 (Media, Image building and PR Comm) at the association.
She is part of the National Council of Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) for the term 2023-24 and holds various other key positions within the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII).
Shradha has a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Delhi. She also went on to earn two post-graduate degrees, a master’s in management and a Masters in Economics & Information Systems from The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), University of London. She has over 23 years of experience in the automotive industry.
Manisha Girotra
Manisha Girotra is Chief Executive Officer of Moelis in India. She was previously Chairperson and Country Head for UBS in India. With a career spanning 30 years with UBS in London, Hong Kong, Mumbai, Delhi and with Moelis, she has bootstrapped both these organisations in India, setting up the teams, obtaining necessary regulatory licenses, building the brand, the corporate governance and the business model. She was the youngest CEO of a global investment bank in India at the age of 32.
Manisha has advised over US$ 500 Bn of mergers and acquisitions and equity and debt fundraisings through her career. Some of the landmark transactions include Vodafone US$ 12 Bn acquisition of Hutch’s telecom business, Bharti Airtel’s US$ 10 Bn acquisition of Zain Africa, US$ 65 Bn merger of HDFC-HDFC Bank, Birla Group’s US$ 6 Bn acquisition of Novelis.
Manisha is on the Global Board of Naspers and Prosus, a US$ 200 Bn market cap technology investor, Ashok Leyland and Mindspace Business Parks REIT. In addition, Manisha is a mentor for working women and aspiring working women at ‘Aspire For Her’ a start up wanting to put 1mm women into the workforce by 2025.
Manisha represents the banking industry’s viewpoint on several panels of SEBI, CII, FICCI and other industry associations. Her contributions have been widely recognised through industry accolades by being named as one of the ‘50 Women to Watch’ by The Wall Street Journal and being nominated in the ‘Top 50 Women in Business’ by Forbes & Fortune and being named ‘Top 25 Most Powerful Women in Business in India’ by Business Today.
Manisha graduated in Economics from St Stephen's College, Delhi and was awarded the Dr. Manmohan Singh Gold Medal for academic excellence for her Master’s Degree from the Delhi School of Economics.
Pradip M Kanakia
Mr. Pradip M Kanakia is a strong leader and Finance and governance-oriented professional with expertise in accounting, auditing, reporting, strategy, transformation, performance management, systems and processes and controls, compliance, and governance. As a qualified Chartered Accountant of both England & Wales and India, he has held leadership positions with Price Waterhouse and KPMG during a career spanning 35 years.
As a Lead Engagement Partner, he led the audits of several prestigious Indian and multinational companies, across various industry sectors, reporting under Ind-AS, IFRS and US GAAP for over 22 years.
As a national leader in both PwC and KPMG, he played a major role in transforming the businesses of both the firms leading to accelerated growth and profitability by demonstrating the ability to ‘turn around’ underperforming business units with strong strategic and execution skills.
Mr Kanakia also led a popular Non-Executive Directors (NED) Program with Price Waterhouse for a period of 10 years that attracted large participation by Independent Directors, CFOs, Chief Internal Auditors and Chief Compliance Officers in Mumbai and NCR regions.
Mr. Kanakia led several thousand people in both the firms and cultivated a culture of high performance, collaboration, and teamwork by encouraging a questioning mind set and belief in finding solutions to problems and actively engaging with all stakeholders.
Mr. Kanakia is also an Independent Director on the Boards of Britannia Industries Limited, JM Financial Limited, Healthcare Global Enterprises Limited, Camlin Fine Sciences Limited and a Non-Executive Director on the Board of Torrent Gas Limited.
Karam Daulet-Singh
As the Managing Partner of Touchstone Partners, Karam is responsible for the firm's overall business strategy, client experience and culture. A dual-qualified lawyer, qualified to practice both in England and India, Karam first worked with Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer in London in the late 1990s, after graduating from the University of Cambridge, UK, with a first class. On returning to India, he worked with an established Indian law firm, before setting up his individual practice in 2002, which has now evolved into the firm as currently constituted.
Karam extensively advises several financial institutions and multinational corporations in connection with their India strategies and has worked on some of the largest cross-border transactions in the Indian market in the last 20 years.
