EMCBS is a modular braking system developed for its use in 3-Phase Electric Locomotive (EMCBS), suitable for application and release of train brake and locomotive brakes in accordance with a graduated release twin-pipe air brake system. Its LRU line replaceable intelligent modules are connected to the local network function together in conjunction with the locomotive control computer (VCU) to achieve the desired brake functionality.
