This is a jerk free high tensile center buffer coupler (CBC) with semi-permanent head and balanced type draft gear. Coupler design also meets interchangeability requirement from semi-permanent type head to AAR-H type head to facilitate coupling with E or H type couplers. The coupler is ideal for high speed trains above 160 kmph, such as Train-18.
